Ricky Terry Johnson, age 68, passed away on March 18, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on February 11, 1957, Ricky spent much of his life on the road as a dedicated truck driver, a career he thoroughly enjoyed.
Ricky is survived by a loving family that includes his siblings Kenny, Wayne, and Renee; his children Amelia, Terry, and Josh; and his grandchildren Harley, Alexis, Jordan, Natalee, Wyatt, and Gracie. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Athena. His family remembers him as a central figure in their lives, providing love, support, and joy. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Mott and Jimmie Johnson.
In his leisure time, Ricky was seldom seen without his beloved dog, Brownie, by his side. He was a fan of classic television, often enjoying shows like "The Andy Griffith Show," "Cops," and various westerns and comedies.
Ricky's presence will be deeply missed, remembered always for the love and laughter he brought into their lives. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and countless memories cherished by all who knew him.
