Robert Emerson

Robert William Emerson Jr., 82, passed away on Sunday December 23, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Jacksonville Florida to the late Robert and Elizabeth Laprade Emerson, Sr., and has lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He was veteran and served in the US Army and was retired as the Branch manager of Wholesale Building materials of Jacksonville. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include his wife Lynn Bennett Emerson; sons, David Emerson, and Danny Zak (Michelle); daughters, Kimberly Barron (Simon), and Hope Lacaria; sister, Mary MacDonald; grandchildren, Jessica, Alex, Luke, and Kate; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery Jacksonville at 11am on Wednesday December 26, 2018, with Pastor Earl Compton officiating.
