Robert W. Glaeser, age 71, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on July 15, 2025.
Bob was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on October 24, 1953. He attended Roxborough High School. Bob excelled at work in several different fields, and his passion for the transportation industry led him to a 40-year career that focused on creating an infrastructure that enabled people to live their lives in safety and convenience.
Bob is remembered by countless colleagues as a dedicated and caring employer who gave his all to keep his customers happy. He was tough but fair, and he led by example. Bob was most recently employed as a Special Rides Manager at ZTrip.
As dedicated as Bob was to his job, his greatest accomplishment was being a husband and father. He treasured his wife, Mary Theresa Glaeser, adored his children, Theresa Stefanowicz (Dave), Bridget Glaeser, Edward Slater, Amy O’Brien (Dan); and his grandchildren, Ethan Slater, Avery O’Brien, and Ruby O’Brien.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Virginia Glaeser, and his brother, Carl. In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, Bob is survived by his sister, Martha; and brothers, Paul (Kathy) and Vincent (Barbara).
The tribute above was prepared by Bob’s loving family.
