Mays                                               Robert Scott Mays, 74, passed away on Saturday May 8, 2021. He was born in Jacksonville Florida in 1946 to the late Robert and Ruby (Dixon) Mays, and has lived most of his life in Jacksonville. He was a veteran and served in the US Marine Core in Vietnam. He was a loving Husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife of 17 years Betty; sons, Steve Mays (Kelly), and Timothy Mays (LeAnn); daughter, Donna Smith; grandchildren, Logan, and Toby Smith, Daniel and Matthew Mays, Casandra Mays, Leann, Lillian Mays, Nathen and Emma Mays... And a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Mike Reed officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 10am in the chapel. Interment with Military honors will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery at 1pm.
