Robert Wayne Dyches, 62, of Oceanway, passed Saturday February 5th surrounded by his kids following complications from a brief illness. Wayne was born in Statesboro, Georgia on June 20th, 1959, to Robert and Jeanette Dyches. Wayne and his parents moved to Jacksonville, FL where he was raised and has lived most of his life. He had a successful career that he loved as a Brick Mason for many years for Dyches Construction. Wayne was very creative and could draw or build anything requested of him. When he wasn’t working, you could find him on the water fishing with his family. Wayne loved his family more than life itself. He was a devoted husband for many years to his late wife Marilee Dyches. He was an amazing father and a friend to so many. To know Wayne was to love him, he was such a simple man who didn’t require much to make him happy. He was a happy go lucky man with a foul mouth and short temper that we all loved him for. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Marilee Dyches, and his parents Robert and Jeanette Dyches. Wayne is survived by his children, Kris Bessent (Tylanna), Robby Dyches (Trina), Destiny Frost (Ray-His Favorite Son in Law), and Georgia Dyches. Wayne had 6 Grandchildren and twins girls due June 2022, Randy, Michael, Courtney, Railynn, JJ, Carter, and Emery & Finley due in June 2022. Wayne will truly be missed by his family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Friday evening February 11, 2022 at 6pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Friday evening starting at 5pm.
