Roberto Santos

Santos - Roberto “Tito” Santos, age 61, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on June 4, 2026. With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roberto “Tito” Santos, a devoted husband, proud Navy veteran, loyal friend, and beloved family member.

Tito dedicated his life to serving others. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years, faithfully protecting and serving our country with honor, dedication, and integrity. After retiring from military service, he continued serving his community as a civil servant at NAS Jacksonville.

To those who knew him, Tito was a man of strength, kindness, and unwavering loyalty. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, and put the needs of others before his own. His warm smile, gentle heart, and sense of humor touched the lives of many.

Above all else, Tito was a devoted husband. He shared a beautiful love story with his wife, Gladys, whose life was forever changed by his love, friendship, and companionship. Together they built a life filled with faith, laughter, hope, and unconditional love.

In 2023, Tito began a courageous battle with chronic pancreatitis and other serious health complications. Despite countless hospital stays, painful procedures, and difficult challenges, he fought with remarkable strength and determination. Throughout his journey, he remained brave, resilient, and grateful for every moment spent with those he loved.

Tito leaves behind a legacy of service, compassion, and love.  His beloved wife Bonita,  his three siblings, seven children, several grandchildren, four great grandchildren, friends, fellow veterans, and coworkers. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended and that he is now at peace.

Tito’s life was a testament to honor, courage, and selfless service. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Fair winds and following seas, Sailor. Your watch is over. Rest peacefully. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
