Rocky Russell Stewart

Rocky Russell Stewart was born on July 7, 1951 to William and Alva Stewart (both deceased). He was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Betty, Nancy and Rose and 1 brother, Tommy. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa. Two sons, Tommy and Brian. Two grandsons, Jaden and Rhygel. Two sisters, Gail Boston, and Jeanette Nixon , 1 brother Bill Stewart, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rocky enjoyed hunting and puttering in his garage and fixing things. He graduated from Andrew Jackson’s class of 1970. He enjoyed attending the NE FL Scottish Highland games every year. He was always willing to go and help family and friends with projects they were working on. He also loved a good cookout with family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday November 9, at 7pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday Evening from 6pm until 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
