Roger Allen Brown

Roger Allen Brown, 75, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. He was born in LaGrange, Georgia in 1948 to the late Thurston and Corene Brown and has lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He was Baptist by faith, he loved fishing, working with old cars, and woodworking. Roger loved spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Annie Ruth Brown, and son, Joseph Brown. Survivors include his sons, Roger Brown (Briget), and Jay Brown (Natasha), 21 grandchildren,  23 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 12:30 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Rev, Ricky Crews officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home starting at 11:30. Interment will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
