Ronald Edward Puotinen, son of the late Donald and Gloria Puotinen, was born on October 4, 1950, in Esko, Minnesota and passed away on December 7, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida. Ron was a college graduate and worked as an educator and a retail manager. He met his loving wife Cindy, while residing in Michigan. They married on June 2, 1982. In 1998, Ron and Cindy moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be near their daughter and grandson. Ron is survived by his wife Cindy, daughters; Dawn Smith and Tonya Boardman (Eric), grandson Steven Austin Lewis (Ashleigh), and brother Dale Puotinen (Rhonda). Ron was a devoted husband, loving father, brother, and friend. He dedicated his life to his family, ensuring that he was always there when needed. To some, Ron lived a simple life, but what fulfilled him the most was being a papa, spending time with family and friends, and fishing. He will be loved and cherished forever.
