Ronald (Ron) Horace Westbrooks, 75 passed away Wednesday December 7, 2022.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1947 to the late Robert Westbrooks and Annie Kathryn Robinson (Burdette). Ron has lived in Jacksonville, Florida since 1993. Prior to that Ron also lived in Tampa, Florida for 19 years. He served as a Deacon for many years at His Word Center of Tampa. He was employed by General Electric then became self employed at Ron’s Forklift Repair. Ron was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was also a member of The American Legion , and of Paxon Revival Center Church. He loved horseback riding, fishing , camping , coin collecting and most of all spending time with family.
Ron is preceded in death by his (Parents) Robert Westbrooks , Annie Kathryn Robinson and his (Stepfather) Murray Robinson. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Brenda Diane Westbrooks; (Daughters) Rhonda Hay (Thomas) Angela Starks (Toby); (Brothers) Danny Westbrooks and Jerry Westbrooks (Sisters) Sandra Fowler and Beverly White , (Grandchildren) Brheanne Hay, Shealyn Starks and Easton Starks, and a host of other family and friends. He was a devoted Husband , Father, Paw Paw and will be remembered and loved by all.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL, with Pastor Steve Dobbs officiating. Family will receive friends at 10am followed by 11am service. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
