Roy Ralph Horne (Ralph) was born in Jacksonville, FL. Ralph passed away peacefully at home the evening of
December 25, 2023, at the age of 96. He married the love of his life Eloise Horne; they were married 73 years. They
enjoyed Sundays with their church family at Heavenly Heights Baptist Church. Ralph loved Jesus and shared his
life's testimony with everyone. He would pray for all those around him until the last few weeks of his life. He was a
loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and faithful friend to many. He treasured
spending time with his family, frequently going fishing, hunting, camping, and creating wonderful memories. He
shared many memories of his life adventures through stories that will be passed down through generations. He was
employed by the City of Jacksonville Water Department for 30 years. Served 7 years in the U.S. Army.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Fred Horne, and mother Elizabeth Horne, brothers Fred Horne, Jr., Joseph Horne,
sister Edna Crews, great-grandson Nathan Kato.
He is survived by his wife, Eloise Horne, brother Edward Horne, sister Betty Bageant, daughters Cathy Cleaves, Carol
Pigg(James), sons Roy Ralph Horne, Jr(Colette), Mark Horne(Rhonda)
grandchildren, Connie Hankey(Jamie), Travis Horne(Amy), Ryan Braddock(Chrissy), Jamie Smith(Les),
Carrie Woods, Matt Braddock(Katie), Jana Bowles(Chris), Natalie Vilano(Dan), Heather
Crumley(Caleb), Christopher Bowie, Melissa Luna, James Luna(Sky), Peter Luna.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2023, at 11 am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with Rev. Larry McGinley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends starting at 10 am.
