Sandra “Sandi” Dumas Smith, 65, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on May 18, 2024, after a second battle with cancer.
Sandi was born to William and Jacquelyn Dumas (nee Smothers) in Jacksonville, FL. Sandi graduated from Andrew Jackson Senior High and later attended Florida Junior College, now FSCJ. In 2022, Sandi retired as an accountant, most recently working with Habijax.
In 1986, Sandi married Keith Smith. They would have celebrated their 38th anniversary this July. Sandi also leaves behind two daughters: Jennifer Deas (Cline Barton, III) and Lisa (Michael) Rose. She was also Nana to Carter and Averly Rose.
She enjoyed cross-stitching and spending time with her friends and family. Sandi will be remembered for her kindness and generous spirit. Her humor and thoughtfulness will be missed.
Sandi was predeceased by her parents, step-father James Bridgers, her sister Gail Collins, and her son-in-law Shawn Deas. She is survived by her sister Linda (Albert) Merrow, her brother Michael (Melanie) Dumas, and Uncle Giovanni Dattoli, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Grave services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 10 am in Ferreira Cemetery 14463 Tiki Road, Jacksonville, FL
