Shannon Ann Jones of Yulee, Florida, born September 18, 1987, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 26, 2021. She is survived by her son, Will Stokes, Jr., her partner in life, Phillip Culpepper, Jr.; parents, Lonnie Daniel Jones, Sr. and Judy Ann Taylor Jones; brother, Lonnie Daniel Jones, Jr. (Mallory); niece, Haislee Anne Jones; nephew, Lonnie Jay Jones; grandmother, Sarah Ann Rodgers and many other family and friends.
Shannon graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 2005. She received her Associates Degree in Business from Florida State College of Jacksonville.
Shannon could light up any room with her spirited personality and contagious smile. She was full of life and saw the good in everything and everyone. She was kind, caring and crafty. Shannon could take something old, make it new and use it to decorate her home.
Shannon’s greatest joy in life is her son, Will, Jr., and the life they shared together. They enjoyed the outdoors, whether they were camping, hunting or yearly family vacations to the mountains.
Shannon loved her family and friends with her whole heart and lived her life to the fullest. She will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be forever missed.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lonnie & Shirley Jones, Charlotte Adcock and McKenny & Irene Taylor.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Blackrock Baptist Church, 96362 Blackrock Road in Yulee, Florida, at 11 am with Pastor John Kasper officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Monday Evening from 6-8 pm at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road in Jacksonville.
