Shealynne Marie Martin, 36, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. She was born in Plainfield, NJ., in 1986 to James and Shirley (Kerns) Martin and has lived in Jacksonville for 11 years. She was a Chef by trade and loved cooking. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her beloved cat “Marty.”
She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirly Martin; Survivors include her father, James Richard Martin; cousins, Nicole and Kevin. Her uncle Thomas Martin and her good friend Katie.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 5 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL. The family will receive friends at 4 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
