Shirley Louise Eichelser, 83, passed on to her heavenly home on February 12, 2020 after a courageous battle with Dementia. She was born in Maxville, Florida on July 11, 1936 to her late parents Francis and Myrtle Coleman.
Shirley, with her larger than life personality, never met a stranger, just new friends. Her love of God and family, her giving nature and sense of humor will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Don; devoted daughter, Phyllis Van Sickle (Brian); sister, Mary Browning; grandsons, Ryan Van Sickle (Lacy), Kyle Van Sickle (Amber), Randy McDuffie, Austin McDuffie; granddaughters, Stefanie Kikic ( Adin), Destiney Cassano; great grandchildren, Kale, Kylie, Hazel, Kamdyn and Stella Van Sickle, Esmina and Adam Kikic, Chandler Beltz, Damon Shelow.
Shirley is preceded in death by her son, Randy Eichelser, brothers, B.F., James and Donnie Coleman, sisters, Minnie Pellum and Evelyn Taylor and brother-in-law, Buddy Browning. Shirley's well-lived life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 15 2020, at Westside Baptist Church 7725 Herlong Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32210, with Pastor Ray Mayfield officiating. Visitation for friends and family will begin at 11:00 A.M. followed by the funeral services at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
