Shirley Virginia Hamilton

Hamilton                                                         Shirley Virginia Hamilton, 79, went home to be with her savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday June 30, 2021, with her loving husband and family at her side. She was born on December 15, 1941 in West Virginia to the late Garnett and Vella Stamper and has lived in Jacksonville for the past 25 years. She is preceded in death by her son, Rusty Bond, and daughter, Alma Bond. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed. Survivors include her husband of 17 years Charles Hamilton; son, Shawn Bond; grandchildren, Roy Bond, and Boss Harmon, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 3, 2021 at 10 am in the Pines Baptist church 11764 Lem Turner Road, Jacksonville, FL, with Pastors Darren Wesley and Chares Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Jacksonville. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Friday Evening July 2, 2021 at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville.
