Shirley E. Sikes

Shirley E. Sikes, 86, of Jacksonville, went Home to be with The Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2022. She was a founding member of The Paxon Revival Center Church of Jacksonville and lived in Jacksonville most of her life.  
Mrs. Sikes was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sikes, in 2014 and also by her daughters, Marilyn Russell and Dawn Sikes. Survivors include her son, Bobby Sikes (Nancy); daughter, Cindy Collins (Ron); grandsons, Michael Sikes (Carrie), Shaun Sikes (Julie), David Russell (Elaine), Chad Russell (Kim); granddaughter, Heather Lloyd; great-grandsons, Ty Sikes (Malory), Chase Russell, Cade Sikes, and Josiah Russell; great-granddaughters, Emma and Briley; brother, Jimmy Taylor (Mickey); sister, Gloria Jarrell along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.  
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, October 27, 2022, in the chapel of CEDAR BAY FUNERAL HOME, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida, with Pastor Steve Dobbs officiating.  Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
