Shirley Holton Vannetzel

Vannetzel,           Shirley Holton Vannetzel, 74, passed away on Thursday March 10, 2022. She was born in Green Cove Springs, Florida in 1947 to John and Janniece (Shirley) Holton and has lived in Jacksonville all of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her father John C. Holton, Sr. Survivors include her husband Alain Vannetzel; mother Janniece Holton; daughters, Anglia Parmenter (James), and Katie Hersey (Tom); brothers, Johnny (Rebecca), Robert (Joann), and Tommy (Violet); sisters, Joann (Joseph), and Cathy (Jim); step children, Lisa, Dominic, Anthony (Lisa), and Sonya; grandchildren, Michael (Nancy), James (Amanda), Linwood (Ashley) Joshua (Nadia), and Crystal (Jose), Susan (Harry) and Jason (Shannon);16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2022 at 3pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Jerami Shannon officiating. Interment will follow in Ferreira Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday starting at 2pm.
