Stephanie Kaye Smith

Stephanie Kaye Smith, 47, of Jacksonville, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Stephanie was born in Jacksonville to Michael S. and Cathy (Baird) Bracewell. Originally a Westside girl, she moved to Oceanway and has made her home here ever since. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and daughter who enjoyed fishing, baseball (especially the Red Sox and Phillies), and NASCAR's Jimmy Johnson. She got a thrill out of attending the Daytona 500 and visiting Universal Studios any chance she got.
Survivors include her daughter, Desaray Smith of Yulee, FL; parents, Michael and Cathy Bracewell of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Michele Knowles (Scott) of San Mateo, FL; grandson, Truitt Kirkus, nephew, Logan Knowles, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, & cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Cedar Bay Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Rouse officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to services.
