Tanya Darlene Maceda

Tanya Darlene Busby Maceda, 56 was called home to our Lord and Savior on March 18, 2024. Born and raised in Jacksonville , Florida, she was the daughter of Rayford and Clara Busy ,and was second to youngest of five children growing up. She graduated with a high school diploma from Metcalf County High in Edmonton, Kentucky.

She was a jack of all trades and could make anything work, anyone laugh, and could face any situation with a fierce fight. She lived most of her life as a caregiver, but did many other things, as well. She was the proud owner of her own business, Mermaid Detailing, as well as a  waitress for many years; but the hat she wore and title she carried through it all was MOM. She was a mom to so many, not just the ones that were hers. She was the neighborhood hang out, the safe spot away from home , the fight you didn’t know you needed to fight, and her kind heart and warm spirit and wrestling matches will be missed by so many. 

She is survived by daughters (2) Scyleesa Roch and Lauren Tecson Spaulding (Wilter), grandchildren Nataleigh, Aralynn, Warren, Parker and Kylo, sisters Laura Hoovler and Cathy Chaney (Terry), her partner and friend Mike Grosholtz and many nieces and nephews and family and friends. 

She was predeceased by her mother and father Rayford and Clara Busby, older brothers Keith and Roger Busby, and her sweet son Dalton Maceda. 

The funeral services will be on March 28th at 6pm there will be a viewing/visitation at 5pm until services begins held at cedar bay funeral home.
