Teresa Shields Dyess

Teresa Shields Dyess, born on October 21, 1958, passed away on October 12,2023 at the age of 64. She
was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida and was a devoted Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister, and friend.
She is survived by the love of her Life of 44 years Keith Dyess, their children Larry (Melissa), David (Kelly),
and Lindsey, their grandchildren Morgan, Ty, Kristen, Drew, Trinity, Robert, and Molly her fur grandchild,
siblings Pat (Carrie), Beverly (Jerry), Lisa (Ed), and Kimi (Bob), sister-in-laws Colleen (Billy) and Annette
(John), her bonus children Ben and Kyle, and multiple nieces, nephews, and friends.
Teresa known to her family and friends as Terri was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she
was a eucharistic minister and a Catholic Education Teacher For many years. She was a feisty and
compassionate person who enjoyed spending time with her family, reading her bible, trips to Starbucks, 
working on her multiple embroidery projects, and listening to her favorite music.
A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 17th, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, a funeral
Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 18th at 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church located at
11665 Ft. Caroline Road Jacksonville, Fl. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.
