Teresa Lynn (Stephens) Jones

Teresa Lynn Jones, 58, passed away on Tuesday August 20, 2019. She was born in Kinston, NC. to the late Forrest and Barbara (Medlin) Stephens. She was Baptist by faith, she was an avid bingo player and a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Fred Jones; son, Nicholas Lee Jones; sisters, Kelly Crosby (John), and Susan Sellers. Nephews, John “Bubba” Crosby, niece, Casey Sellers, and Jessie Montgomery and great niece, and nephew, Gracie and Zachary Montgomery, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 24, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Chaplain Tim McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Ferreira Cemetery Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
