Legge - Teresa Diane Legge passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on June 26, 1962, in Pascagoula, Mississippi at Singing River Hospital sharing her birthplace with numerous grandchildren. Teresa had a variety of professions throughout her life but the one that brought her a sense of accomplishment, feeling of pride was the time she spent in the United States Navy. She served on the USS The Holland (AS-32) in South Carolina during the 80s. Teresa’s service in the military was a shared connection with her sons-in-law, Chuck, Jack and Clay. She loved watching football with her sons, especially the Dallas Cowboys. It meant everything to Teresa to be able to watch football games with them. She also loved reading her bible and talking about her faith, often with her daughter Holli. Teresa loved listening to music and would say she could not be motivated without it. Her favorites being classic rock and country. Before becoming unable to, Teresa enjoyed making cookies and candy especially at Christmas time. She was incredibly talented at crocheting, gifting with many family members having a scarf, hat, blanket or dress crocheted by her. At the time of her passing, Teresa was crocheting a blanket that will go unfinished but still be cherished. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Cluney and Angela Oates; son Michael “Ryan” Legge; grandchildren, Nikolas Johnson and Paul Johnson; and siblings, Carolyn Cluney and Mark Cluney.
Teresa is survived by her loving children, Casandra (Charles “Chuck”) Johnson, Holli (Kenneth) Green, Erik Legge and Alyssa (Jack) Bozman; 16 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister, Paula Cluney.
Teresa’s grandchildren from Casandra are Madison Rogers and Dallas Nelson, grandchildren from Holli are Dylan Grinsteinner, Dalton Green, Dustin Green, Emma Green and Daniel Green, grandchildren from Erik are Alexzandria “Alex” Legge, Giuliana “Jules” Legge, Sebastian Legge, Ezekiel “Zeke” Legge and Linkyn Legge, grandchildren from Alyssa are Annabella Bozman, Casandra “Sophie” Bozman, Dexter Bozman and Shawn Bozman, and great grandchildren from Dallas are McKenna Nelson and Aurora Nelson.

A Memorial Service for Teresa will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 with Pastor Paynter officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
