Terry Lee Barfield, Sr.

Barfield                                Terry Lee Barfield, 61, passed away on Monday December 26, 2022. He was born in Lakewood, California on June 27, 1961, to James Howard and Peggy Ann (Deering) Barfield and has lived in Jacksonville most of his life.  His father James was a Navy CPO and proudly served his country. When Terry was in high school he met the love of his life Michelle and they were married on June 26, 1981. Terry adored his parents, wife, children, and grandchildren. Terry worked for Carrier Enterprises for 43 years and managed several shops around Jacksonville. He was a Christian and a firm believer in the bible and its teachings. Terry was an avid hunter and a member of Horny Hunters Hunting Club. He loved football and was a diehard FSU fan as well as NASCAR. He also loved fishing, cookouts, old westerns and spending time with family and friends on the porch enjoying an ice cold Bush light. Survivors include his mother Peggy, his wife of 41 years Michelle, children, Cory, Sean, and Lindsey; his siblings, Rudy, Ricky, Robby, and Cindy; grandchildren, Elijah, Levi, Caleesa, and Javeah. Memorial services will be held on Saturday January 7, 2022 at 2pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Saturday starting at 1pm .
