Thomas D. Baumann

Thomas D. Baumann, 70, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Born August 17, 1951 in Streator, Illinois, Tom is survived by his wife Sharon (DeLong) Baumann, who he shared his life with for 45 years, his daughter Heather Baumann (Henrik Stahre)I, his grandson Alexander Baumann; his parents Don and Teresa (Neu) Baumann. He is also survived by his sister Pam (Steve) Carlton, brother Dave Baumann (Shelly), and sister Patti (Mark) Klyczek; nephew Steve (Sarah) Baumann, Jennifer Ross ( Curtis ) niece Kristina Baumann (Rob Stassen), nephew Dan (Kristin) Baumann, nephew Sam Klyczek (Hannah), and nephew Jack Klyczek.

Tom graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 1969 and graduated from Illinois State University 1979.  Tom was a Veteran of the United States Navy and honorably served his country from 1970-1974 during the Vietnam Conflict. He belonged to the American Legion post 316 Tom retired from TSA in Tom enjoyed golf and fishing with, his daughter and grandson. May the force be with you always? The big kahuna will be missed

Funeral services have been made by Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Jacksonville, Florida.  www.cedarbayfuneralhome.com. Family and friends are encouraged to sign the online guest book, upload photographs and share Tom’s memorial page online through social media.  Service and burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at The National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.  In lieu of flowers.
