Thomas Joseph Hohorst, Jr.

  Thomas Joseph Hohorst, Jr., 58, passed away on Friday May 14, 2021. Tom was born in Jacksonville Beach, Florida on 09-09-1962. He retired as a Lieutenant on 3-25-15 after serving 26 years with Jacksonville Fire/Rescue. He Graduated from Andrew Jackson High School class of 1981, and was a member of the Moose Lodge # 2134, of North Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas J Hohorst Sr, his Mother Evelyn Virginia (Belinsky) Hohorst, and his brother, Frederick Hohorst. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Angel Key Hohorst; sons, Johnathon Hohorst (Libbie), and John Plummer; 4 grandchildren, Myleigh, Adalyn, Jaxin, and Drevin; brothers, Karl Hohorst (Debbie), Timothy Hohorst (Laurie), and Kenneth Hohorst (Bonnie); sister, Elizabeth Taylor; and 7 nephews, 4 nieces,1great niece,1 great great niece, and his beloved grand puppy Juicy. Memorial services will be held on Saturday May 29, 2021 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Fl. 32218 with Pastor Perry Fruscella officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday starting at 10am.
