Thomas Roger McDougald, 78, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, in his home with family. He was born October 15, 1944, in Geneva, Alabama to the late Ransom McDougald and Mary Ursry McDougald. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps at 16 and quickly advanced to lance corporal. He became a black belt in karate and was a tank mechanic. He loved anything that got his heart racing including boats, motorcycles, dune buggies, and classic cars. He was laid back and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby McDougald. Survivors include his brother, Donald McDougald; nieces, Robin, and Rhonda McDougald; son, Andy McDougald; 5 great nieces and nephews; eleven great, great nieces and nephews; and a host of other friends and family. He loved deeply and was deeply loved and will be missed.
Services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida at 11 am.
