Obituary

Clark - Tina Karen Hereford Clark, age 65, of Jacksonville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2025, after a battle with cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her daughters.

Tina was born to Charles Davis Hereford and Lula Kathleen Davis Hereford on October 1, 1959, in Birmingham, Alabama. She was blessed with four daughters who were her greatest joy, Kimberly Braxton (David), Amber Perry, Stephanie Wessels (Jay), and Kathleen Bopp (Steve Wood). Tina’s happiest role in life was being “Nana.” She cherished every moment with her beloved grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Lauren (Daniel), Makenna, Trent, Rebekah, Christian, Chanie, Grace, Adrianna, Dominic, Michael, Lucas, Mason, and Joshua, and her precious great-grandchildren, Noah, Jonah, Finley, Kalia, Carson, and Elijah. Her love for them was boundless, and her family will forever carry that love in their hearts.

Tina was sassy, strong, and loved her girls beyond measure. She fiercely defended the people she loved and, while she faced struggles in life, her love for her daughters and her grandchildren remained constant. Tina was a member of Dunns Creek Baptist Church, where she attended until her illness. She cherished her church family, who were a source of comfort and joy to her. Outside of work and faith, Tina lived life with a joyful spirit. She was a loyal Georgia Bulldog fan, and her favorite time of year was cheering during the Florida–Georgia football game. She also loved spending time at the beach and was an avid NASCAR fan. She dedicated her life to hard work and enjoyed a long career in the trucking industry as a clerk, where she formed many lasting friendships.

Tina was preceded in death by her father, Charles Davis Hereford; and brother, Richard Charles Hereford. She is survived by her loving mother, Lula Kathleen Davis Hereford; sister, Suzanne Hughes (Dwan); brothers, Steven Hereford (Theresa) and Thomas Hereford (Cindy); and many nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly.

Tina’s legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will continue to shine through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Community Hospice Team for their care, compassion, and kindness during Tina’s final journey. They also like to thank Buford Grove Baptist Church for graciously hosting Tina’s service.

The tribute above was prepared by Tina’s loving family.
