Obituary

Denson - Tracielynn Denson, age 52, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with her health. Born on July 22, 1974, in Mineola, New York, Tracielynn was the daughter of Chris Christensen and Patricia Hanson. After earning her GED, she pursued her passion for healthcare, attending medical school and becoming a certified phlebotomist and later a certified medical assistant. Her dedication to helping others defined much of her professional life. Tracielynn married Leonard Denson in Jacksonville, Florida, where Leonard was stationed with the United States Military. Together they had three children, Faith, Liberty, and Justice. Later in life, Tracielynn welcomed her daughter, Breyanna, completing her family.  An active and spirited woman, Tracielynn especially cherished collecting Beanie Babies, cooking, spending time at the beach, and cheering Breyanna on at her cheer competitions. In her younger years, she excelled as a gymnast and volleyball player, she remained a passionate sports fan throughout her life, loving NASCAR and proudly supporting the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys. Tracielynn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Denson, and her parents, Chris Christensen and Patricia Hanson.

Tracielynn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Breyanna, Faith, Liberty, and Justice; daughter-in-law, Elisa; grandchildren, Nasir, Nova, Nakai, Noelle, Nyren, Nirvana, and Navari; brothers, Scott and Shaun; sister, Christine; and stepmother, Debra.
