Tracy Lynn Williams, 49, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in her home Friday, April 23rd, 2021. She was born May 27th, 1971 in Jacksonville, Florida to Cynthia Lynn Surrency (Williams-Hereford) and the late Richard Charles Hereford. Tracy was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and was an only child to Lynn. Tracy graduated from Andrew Jackson and attended Concord Dental School with a degree in dentistry with expanded duties. She was a dental assistant and loved working the big events in Jacksonville as a bartender also. Tracy had a smile that would light up the room, soft spoken but she was full of life and energy, she enjoyed the outdoors. She had a strong connection with her higher power and truly believed in love, mercy, grace and forgiveness. When she was not working, she loved to fish, going for a walk or a bike ride, gardening, photography and spending time at the beach where she found serenity. She loved music and attending concerts. When she was not being active, she enjoyed a good movie, listening to music or painting and coloring. She was one active person.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Cleve and Ruth Williams, Charles Hereford and step brother, James Surrency. She is survived by her mom and best friend, Cynthia Lynn Surrency; stepdad of 46 years, Ronald Jack Surrency Sr., her love, Jennifer Pipkins and her baby kitty, Jasper; loving grandmother, Kathleen Hereford; three aunts, Pat, Suzanne and Tina; two uncles; two half-sisters; four half-brothers and numerous cousins and loving friends.
The family will be holding a private celebration of Tracy’s life. Please donate to a local turtle rescue or the Catty Shack in her memory, she loved her turtles and cats. Tracy was the animal whisper.
