Vanette Raye Brooker

Vanette Raye Brooker at 72 years old went home to be with the lord on Tuesday June 4, 2019. She was born in Jacksonville, NC but was raised in Virginia. She spent over 50 years of her life living in Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of the APA, UPA and the Loyal Order of the Moose. She loved collecting all sorts of jewelry, going thrift shopping and crocheting all sorts of blankets for the people she loved. She also loved painting ceramics. Surviving family includes; her daughter Jennifer Brooker, her son Larry Brooker Jr, her daughter in law Ginger Brooker. Grandchildren; Nicole, Ashley, Amber, Rachel, Zachary and Heather. And a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 11 am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Saturday starting at 10 am at the funeral home
