Virginia "Ginny" Snow Wall, 82, passed away peacefully at her home on September 10, 2021. She was born in Gadsden County Florida on May 4, 1939, to parents John and Alice Snow. She was preceded in death by her parents, late husbands, Buddy Wall and Lamar Mixson; and sister, Mary Lee. Survivors include her sister, Shirley Pickett (Clarence); nephews; great-nephews, stepdaughters, Kim Wood (Tracy), Connie Jones (Frank), Mildred Harrod (Charlie); and a host of special friends and caregivers (Holly, Melody, Tonya, and Dee Dee). In 1957, Virginia graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. Virginia’s strong faith in Christ guided her through her life and carried her to her heavenly home. Her greatest joy was playing the organ for Franklin Street Baptist Church for over twelve years. She was also a member of North Main Street Baptist Church where she also served playing both piano and organ. She retired from Southern Bell as a secretary in 1991. She enjoyed the fellowship of the Red Hat Society with all her friends for 10 years. She enjoyed her 2nd home for over 40 years in St. Augustine Beach where she met many people from all over the country that became her dearest friends. She loved working in the yard and planting many flowers over the years and earned the nickname “Ginny Flowerseed”. She had the greatest smile and will be dearly missed. Rest in peace until we all meet again. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 11am in the Franklin Street Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Gore officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday starting at 10am. Donations in memory of Virginia may be made to Franklin Street Baptist Church.
