Wanda Sue Adkins

Wanda Sue Adkins, age 76, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023. A lifelong Jacksonville resident, she graduated from Andrew Jackson High School Class of 1964. She was employed at Biotech Industries/Lorenz and Ace Hardware. Wanda enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and playing her favorite records, such as Neil Diamond and Tanya Tucker. She loved playing with and caring for children, though she had none of her own. 
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Ruby Adkins and her sister, Annette Isenberg. She is survived by her brother, John Adkins (Gloria), two nieces Dana Thomas (Timothy) and Nicole Adkins, and two grandnephews, Ethan Thomas and Payton Lowery, and many family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Jacksonville, Fl, with Rev. Dan Ruffin officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 10 am. Interment will follow in Ferreira Cemetery, Jacksonville.
