Wayne Levi Norton

Wayne Levi Norton, 81, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on May 28, 2024.
Wayne was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 6, 1943 to the late George and Virginia
Norton. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 58 years, Linda Norton, son
Thomas Norton (Jessica), daughter Carol McGuire (John), daughter Jane-Ann Norton,
and brother Raymond Norton. He was a proud and loving Papa and Grandpa to many
grandchildren.
He worked at Prudential for 20 plus years and proudly served in the Florida Air National
Guard for 22 years. He was an enthusiastic amateur radio operator for most of his life
and was a proud member of the North Florida Amateur Radio Society, where he
developed some of his fondest friendships and memories.
Viewing will be held at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville,
FL 32218, on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 5 to 7 pm.
