William David Cook (AKA) Cookie entered God’s Kingdom on Monday, February 12, 2024. He was born to Fay and Bill Cook on February 11, 1958. David was a Commercial fisherman most of his life. He loved being on the ocean, he said it gave him peace, he loved all kinds of music, David could name any song, Artists, and the year the song came out. Most of all he enjoyed his Family and friends. David loved to cook for them and hang out watching football. David had a kind and loving soul. And always smiling.
David was preceded in death by his Grandparents and his mother, Fay Cook. He is survived by his daughter, Tabetha Lopez; father, Thomas William Cook; sister, Debra Rochester; one nephew, Ricky Rochester (Bethany); one niece, Rebecca Rochester; three great nieces, Bailey and Bristol Rochester and Mali Fay Morgan; one great nephew, Braxton Rochester, many cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Calvary Temple Church of God, 168 Duval Station Road, Jacksonville from 11 am to 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to Calvary Temple Church of God.
