William Richard Dixon

William Richard Dixon, 58, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2023, at his home. He was born in Brunswick, Georgia in 1964 to the late Henry and Merlene (Edgerton) Dixon and has lived most of his life in Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jarah Smith, and granddaughter Abbi Smith. Survivors include his daughter Julia Pridgen (Shane); 6 grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. He was a jack of all trades and loved fishing and anything outdoors, he also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 6 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay funeral home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Monday evening starting at 5 pm at the funeral home.
