William Theodore Higginbotham

William T. Higginbotham (Bill) - Bill was born on February 9, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida to Babe and Mary Higginbotham (deceased). He passed on June 18, 2024, at 82 years of age.
Bill was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church of Oceanway and a member of 32 Degree Scottish Rite. He retired after a 26 years career with BellSouth then worked 13 years as a Communications Trainer with 3M.                                                              
Bill loved to race drag racing cars, stock cars, and go carts. He was also an avid golfer.
Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Susie Higginbotham, and his children Lynne Woodley, Gail Higginbotham, and Duane Higginbotham. He had 3 grandchildren, Brianna Brag (Jason), Ashley Cox (Clayton), and Christa Woodley, and four great grandchildren, as well as his sisters Trudy Watson and Terry Musto (Frank). He also had several nieces and nephews. 
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Oceanway at 11:00 am. Pastor Micah Strickland will be officiating.
