My mother, Betty Williams passed away on Feb. 4 ,2020. The director,Mr. Blackburn and his staff were wonderful to work with as we made the plans for my mother's service. My brother Donald and I really appreciate the excellent service we received. Everyone was very kind and comforting. Thanks .
Our son Alex Latak passed away June 14, 2019, in a motorcycle accident. He was only 23 years old. We called Cedar Bay and initially spoke with James, who was very comforting and helpful during this difficult time. We had never planned a funeral and were in no condition to plan one now. We met with Jack and James, and they made the whole process as easy as possible. There was no high pressure sales tactics. They were only interested in providing options based on our requests of what we wanted for our son. They were very accommodating thru the whole process and took excellent care of Alex. I cannot thank them enough for helping make this process as stress free as possible. I would highly recommend their services.
My sister passed away unexpectedly in Kentucky. She had just moved up there a year or so before she passed. She was born and raised here in Jacksonville. Cedar Bay took care of getting her back home found a funeral home I.n Kentucky to get her to the airport. We had no idea where to start. They took it out of our hands and said leave everything to us. Words just can't describe my experience with Cedar Bay funeral home. I've never ever had to plan a funeral. My brother Richard Hereford passed away Dec 4th 2018. I didn't know what to. So I called the funeral home and Jack Blackburn answered the phone and didn't hesitate to handle everything to do when your loved one passes. My husband Ken passed away on June 8, 2018. I spoke to a couple of funeral homes before I spoke to Jack. As soon as we spoke, I knew this was the right place. Everyone was so helpful, professional, and down to earth. The visitation went off without a hitch. Getting everyone to the cemetery and directing us on what to do and when to do it was just perfect.
